[ Agasa was used to Conan's abrupt requests, so he had helped Conan carry the unconscious male inside the car and quickly began heading back to his house without too many questions. Conan stayed in the back with the man, not wanting to risk him falling off the seat during the ride. It was a tight fit, with Conan having to lay the other's head on his lap. He kept a hand around the shoulder to make sure the body didn't jostle around. Being in such close proximity, he naturally saw the small movement of the eyelids, the change in breathing. It was a relief to see that the breathing wasn't as labored as before, that it had become somewhat peaceful.
It didn't take long for Agasa to arrive home. If it were possible, Conan might have used the Kudo manor, but Subaru was living there, and if this really was Kaitou Kid, having Subaru under the same roof wasn't the best choice. Ignoring Haibara's glare, he helped Agasa carry the body into one of the guest rooms. It took a little negotiating with Haibara to agree to treat the patient, but Conan managed. With their combined effort, they did as best as possible to treat the wounds and all what was left to do was provide a place to rest for the patient to recover on their own.
Thanking Haibara and bidding her good night, Conan shut the door to the guest room quietly. Climbing to a chair near the bedside, he looked more closely at the sleeping male in front of him. Conan had taken the jacket, shirt, and vest off when treating the wounds. The sleeping figure only had bandages around the chest area, with matching bandages around the head. Those were the biggest injuries, and the rest only needed some antiseptic and band-aids.
The articles of clothing that were taken off were piled on another chair next to the bedside table, mostly untouched, despite it seeming to contain incriminating evidence. If the state of unconsciousness was caused by Conan's own hand, he wouldn't hesitate to look through every pocket of the clothing. But this was caused by someone else, with the intent to kill. It didn't seem fair, or right. He could be a detective after this mystery patient woke up. ]
